Dynatec chosen when Fatland expands Ølen factory
Fatland is taking another major step in its continuous development and modernization. The company is now expanding its factory in Ølen by up to 12,000 square meters, creating room for new production facilities and, in particular, a significant increase in storage capacity for inbound goods and customer-ready pallets.
This expansion represents a strategic investment to strengthen Fatland’s capacity, efficiency, and flexibility for the future. The new facilities will enable smoother material flow, greater automation, and improved logistics throughout the entire production chain.
– The extension in Ølen is an important milestone for us,” says Inge Fatland. We are pleased to have Dynatec on board as a partner with strong competence in automation and system integration. This project will strengthen our production capacity and help us serve our customers even better.

Dynatec – Partner for Complete Automation and Product Flow
As part of this major project, Dynatec has been chosen as Fatland’s trusted partner for all automation and product flow throughout the factory. The delivery includes four robots for palletizing, hundreds of meters of roller and light goods conveyors, and complete integration with the factory’s top-level control system.
Dynatec will ensure that all processes, from raw material handling to finished goods, operate efficiently and seamlessly within the expanded facility.
– We are proud to have been awarded this important project by Fatland, says Kurt Pedersen, representing Dynatec. Our goal is to deliver a robust, flexible, and future-oriented automation solution that supports Fatland’s ambitions for growth and operational excellence. We look forward to a close and productive collaboration.
